Tilt garage doors are 1 solid panel door that pushes outwards and slides up and back along the ceiling. Sectional garage doors consist of 4 or 5 sections to allow the garage door to move up and slide along the ceiling.

How does a tilt-up garage door work?
Lifting the tilt garage door leads to the contraction of the springs at the top of the door, to pull the door up and into the building.
